Technological company celebrates this month its 18 years, and closes the first half with 34 million euros of revenues
Lisbon, September 19, 2018– Bizdirect, technological company of the Sonae IM universe specializing in IT solutions consulting and marketing, celebrates this month 18 years with a remarkable course, filled with the overcoming of enormous challenges launched by its customers, contributing to make it one of the largest in its market
The company reaches 18 years of activity with a team of 97 IT engineers and IT specialists and more than 500 active clients, both nationally and internationally, from 25 countries. Also worthy of note is the growth of the Viseu Competence Center, which retains talent and exports services in the IT area, reinforced by the entry of new employees, the acquisition of new technical skills and investment in training with the realization of Academies, all in order to respond to the needs of the markets in which it is positioned.
Bizdirect has been increasing and diversifying its portfolio of solutions and services offered to its customers in different areas, always with the necessary know-how to support them in the digital transformation of their business and, therefore, facilitate the day-to-day -day of their teams. In the year it was 18, Bizdirect implemented a number of large-scale and successful projects in different sectors, such as the recent digital transformation of ERA Imobiliária, where the leading real estate brokerage company in Portugal, supported by Bizdirect, has adopted the Microsoft Cloud Azure solution to efficiently manage the thousands of properties in the more than 200 stores across the country, or optimize business processes, with a focus on PRIO Energy's sales and marketing teams, with more than 250 fueling stations, with the Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM solution.
This year Bizdirect received two very important distinctions: in March, the European Round Table of Industrialists (ERT) recognized Bizdirect as one of the driving forces in Europe for training initiatives and digital skills that foster the transformation processes of organizations in the digital age. In July, in Las Vegas, recognition came from Microsoft with the Business Applications Partner of the Year award in Portugal.
Bizdirect presents plans to continue its growth and internationalization process, having concluded the first half of this year with 34 million euros of revenues, which corresponds to an increase of 18% over the previous year. International revenue reached 9% of Bizdirect's total revenue. All Bizdirect business units show a positive and growth performance compared to the budgeted.

To celebrate its 18th anniversary, Bizdirect gathered its employees in a memorable event, which took place on September 14 and 15 in Cascais.
